IDHS Map Shows Eclipse Totality Duration

(Statewide) – The Indiana Department of Homeland Security is out with a map (below) showing the April 8 Eclipse totality duration for certain communities across the state.

Cities and towns in the path of totality can expect the duration of the eclipse to last from less than a minute to a little over four minutes.

Out of the 16 cities highlighted by homeland security, Greensburg is expected to experience three minutes and 32 seconds of totality.

The map indicates Ripley and Dearborn counties can expect one to three minutes, with Franklin County experiencing a duration of three to four minutes.
