Harald H. Reindorf

Harald Heinz Reindorf, 67, of Mooresville, passed from this life after a brief illness on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at University Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Templehoff, West Germany on August 17, 1953, to the late Edna Ilse Selbman and Heinz Johannes Sonntag, later adopted by Lothar Reindorf after arriving in the U.S.A. at the tender age of 5. He married the love of his life Rebecca “Becky” S. (Manion) Williams on July 3, 2004, and was a resident of Mooresville since 2004. He entered the United States Army in 1970, proudly serving his country until retirement in 1992. After retirement he began a career as a truck driver, working for several different companies before securing employment with Ryder Integrated Logistics. He loved traveling, visiting many countries and states. He had a special love for steam engines, along with the Civil War and he and Becky visited many battlefields.

Along with his parents, Harald was preceded in death by his grandparents and stepdaughter Wendi Williams.

He is survived by his loving wife Becky Reindorf of Mooresville; children Stefani Reindorf of Batesville, RaeAnne Helmkamp of Sandusky, OH, Rustey Dunham (Christine) and Sarrah Williams, all of Indianapolis, and Sabrena Haulter of Avon; siblings Tina Snyder (John) of Batesville, Michael (Mick) Reindorf (Tracy) of Sunman, and Karin Trittel (Gerald) of Berlin, Germany; grandchildren Darick, Owen, Christian, Collene, Carter, Hudson, Noah, Tyler, Huxley, Aria, Eisley, and Everly; along with several nieces and nephews.

Cremation Arrangements have been entrusted to Light Memorial & Funeral Chapel in Monrovia. A Gathering of Friends & Family will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021, from 5:00 p.m., until 7:00 p.m., at Light Memorial & Funeral Chapel, with Military Honors and a Celebration of Life Service beginning promptly at 7:00 p.m., and Pastor Keenan Steinway will officiate.
