Cardinals And Trojans Split Middle School Games

St. Louis SchoolThe St. Louis 7th grade boys basketball team visited the SDMS Trojans and
came up a little short when time ran out 38-32.

The young Cardinals were able to outscore the home team in the second half by a good margin but it wasn’t enough to erase a huge deficit graciously provided by St. Louis in
the first half.

Cayden Pohlman brought his speed game that produced some good action and Abe Streator and Thomas Raver did a great job clearing boards. Raver was leading scorer for the contest followed by Streator, Adam Vogelsang and Cody Mohr. Vogelsang was also tasked with giving extra attention on defense to one of SDMS’s talented guards Cooper Hoog. Mohr was able to anticipate some passing lanes leading to steals that helped bring the Cardinals back and make it tight game to the end.
