BMV Open Extra Hours for IDs

(Southeastern IN) – If you still need an ID to vote in tomorrow’s primary, the Indiana BMV is staying open longer to help you get it done.

Branches across the state are extending hours before the primary. They’ll be open from 8 a.m. until 8 tonight, and tomorrow from 6 in the morning until 6 at night.

The focus is on IDs, including new ones, renewals, replacements, or updates.

You can also take care of driver’s licenses, permits, and state IDs.

You’ll need to bring the right documents to get it finished. A complete list of documents can also be found here on the BMV’s website.

If you don’t have a license, you can get a free state ID for voting, as long as you’re a U.S. citizen, have the proper paperwork, and will be at least 18 by the next election.

Meanwhile, in-person early voting wraps up today (Monday). If you want to take advantage of it, you’ll need to stop by your county clerk’s office before Noon.

Vote centers around the area will be open tomorrow on Primary Election Day from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.

The Indiana Secretary of State’s Office says those who are in line at vote center closing time may remain in line and will be allowed to vote.

WRBI have results from local contested races for you tomorrow night on the air and online on WRBIradio.com.
