The Indiana Fever host the expansion Toronto Tempo in WNBA Commissioner’s Cup play tonight. The 8-5 Fever has won three straight. Indiana was eliminated from Commissioner’s Cup Championship contention with the New York Liberty’s win over the Washington Mystics on Sunday, but all Commissioner’s Cup contests still count toward a team’s regular season win-loss record. Tipoff tonight in downtown Indianapolis is at 7:00.

Former Indiana and UC quarterback Brendan Sorsby plans to leave Texas Tech and apply for the NFL’s supplemental draft. Sorsby was granted a temporary injunction by a Texas judge last week that appeared to clear a path for him to play for the Red Raiders in 2026. He had been ruled in eligible by the NCAA after it discovered he had placed more than 9,000 bets, totaling at least $90,000, on professional and college sports over four years while enrolled at IU, UC and Texas Tech, including at least 40 wagers involving Indiana football when he was a freshman with the Hoosiers in 2022.
