A 1967 graduate of William Henry Harrison High School, Karen went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Cincinnati School of Nursing, embarking on a career that reflected her compassion and dedication to caring for others. For more than 30 years, she served with distinction as a Registered Nurse in the Recovery Room at Jewish Hospital, where her expertise and kindness left a lasting impact on patients and colleagues alike.
Karen enjoyed bird watching and being in nature whenever she could. You could often find her sitting in her yard, enjoying the sun and listening to the birds singing. She loved to travel and treasured the family trips to the far corners of the world but of all the places she visited, she was always happiest at the family cabin in Michigan.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Jennifer White (nee Clark); her three grandchildren, Leah, Paige, and Kenny. Karen’s mother, Roberta Renck (nee Quinlan), also survives her, along with her brother, Paul (Sarah) Radenheimer; her sister Carla (Paul) Wolff; and her sister-in-law, Bev Radenheimer. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews and many cousins, who she loved dearly. Their enduring support and love were a vital part of Karen’s life.
Karen was preceded in death by her father, Carl Radenheimer, and her brother, Rodney Radenheimer, who remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved them.
