CHC Adds Mental Health Services

(Greensburg, IN) – The Community Healthcare Clinic of Decatur County (CHC) has added mental health services.

The CHC received a Decatur County Community Foundation Mental Health grant, which will allow them to offer mental health-specific clinics.

The first one specifically centered around mental health will be held on Monday, April 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. at CHC located in the Rural King Plaza in Greensburg.

Dr. Mary McCullough has served for many years as CHC medical director.

She, along with Nurse Practitioners Lindsay Jobe and Emily Verseman, will help those in need.

Desirae Moore, LCSW with the Decatur County CIT, will assist in providing support such as resources and extensive treatment plan placement.

Felicia Wickey, MA, will orchestrate schedules and assist with in-house resources.

The CHC says what began as a dream in the spring of 2025 for Executive Director Emily Verseman and Administrative Assistant Felicia Wickey is coming to fruition for this community.

In the State of Indiana, 24% of adults have reported some type of mental illness, while 47% of Indiana high school students have reported experiencing depression in the last year.

Locally, 30% of adults have reported a concern for or are experiencing a mental health issue.

“The time is now to provide treatment for those in need,” the CHC said in a statement.

The CHC provides medical, dental and now, mental health services to those who are uninsured or underinsured and meet income qualifications.

The cost of a patient visit is $10.

Appointments are encouraged and can be made by calling (812) 663- 7707; walk-ins will be accepted as time allows.
