Whodunit? Auditions Set for ‘Clue’

(Greensburg, IN) – Tree County Players is looking for actors ready to enter Boddy Manor and help solve a murder — or perhaps commit one.

Tree County Players

Auditions for the theater group’s upcoming production of Clue will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, and from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22.

Based on the cult-classic movie and popular board game, the comedy follows a collection of unusual dinner guests who arrive at a mansion on a dark and stormy night. Each guest is using an alias, the butler is handing out weapons and the host winds up dead.

Scarlet, Plum, White, Green, Peacock and Mustard must identify the killer before the body count grows — and before the final twist changes everything.

AUDITION TIMES

Friday, Aug. 21: 6-8 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 22: 1-3 p.m.

The production includes mature themes, dark humor and highly suggestive language. Auditions are therefore restricted to adults age 18 and older.

Younger performers may be considered with advance approval from the director and parental consent. Auditions could also be opened to younger actors if some roles remain unfilled.

Prospective cast members should review the audition information, complete the required form and reserve an audition time through Tree County Players.
