The Boston Celtics knocked off the Indiana Pacers 103-95 in NBA action heard last night on the Sports Voice. Indiana has now lost five straight. Paskal Siakam led the Blue and Gold with 25 points. The Pacers blew a 20-point lead in the second half. They were up 69-49 early in the third quarter, but were outscored 29-13 in the final frame. Indiana returns home tonight against the Milwaukee Bucks. WRBI coverage begins following high school basketball.

The San Francisco 49ers dumped the Indianapolis Colts 48-27 on Monday Night Football. Niners quarterback Brock Purdy threw for 295 yards and five touchdowns. Colts QB Phillip Rivers threw for 277, two TDs and an interception. The Colts trailed by seven at halftime before they were outscored 24-10 the rest of the way. Indianapolis has lost five in a row and drops to 8-7.

In college football, multiple reports indicate Notre Dame and USC officials have failed to reach an agreement on what would have been the 97th game in the series next year. The Fighting Irish are reportedly finalizing a two-year agreement with BYU to play the Cougars in a home-and-home series in 2026 and ’27. Indications are scheduling complications and College Football Playoff ramifications were at the root of the series two-year pause.

The Purdue Boilermakers move up one spot to #5 in this week’s AP Top 25 College Basketball poll. Arizona remains #1, followed by Michigan, Iowa State and UConn in the top four.

The Indiana Hoosiers men’s basketball team used a fast start to pick up an 81-60 win over Siena at Assembly Hall on Monday. The Hoosiers led 46-20 at halftime and were able to coast to victory in the second half. Lamar Wilkerson scored 23 points to lead IU, which improves to 10-3 overall. The Hoosiers have two weeks off before hosting Washington on January 4.
