
(Batesville, IN) – The Batesville Community School Corporation (BCSC) archery program is excited to announce the “Arrows for Hope” 24-hour archery tournament, a community-focused event dedicated to raising funds for cancer research.
The tournament will take place on March 28–29, 2025, in the Batesville High School Auxiliary Gym, highlighting the incredible benefits archery brings to students.
This unique event welcomes participants of all skill levels to form teams and join the challenge.
Parents, teachers, local businesses, and schools are encouraged to participate in this friendly competition, which is limited to 48 teams due to the gym’s target capacity.
“This event is about more than just raising money for cancer research—it’s about bringing our community together and showcasing the skills and confidence our students gain through archery,” said Coach Mike Weiler. “We want everyone to see how archery builds focus, discipline, and teamwork, leading to academic and personal success.”
The “Arrows for Hope” tournament will feature 24 hours of continuous archery, friendly competition, and community challenges to encourage participation from schools, businesses, and families.
EVENT DETAILS:
• Equipment: Genesis bows will be provided if needed, in alignment with NASP tournament standards.
• Cost to Participate: $10 per person or $150 per team.
• Team Formation: Up to 24 people per team, with one person competing per hour to complete the 24-hour challenge.
• Need a Team? No problem! We’ll help match individuals with a team.
