45th edition of the Batesville Music & Arts Festival starts today, moves to Liberty Park Pavilion

Batesville, In. — Batesville’s 45th Annual Music and Arts Festival kicks off today (Wednesday, June 20) in the Pavilion at Liberty Park with the Indianapolis Jazz Orchestra at 7 p.m.

Thursday features Miss Shannon’s Studio featuring The Adventures of Frog and Toad children’s play, Jonathon and Samantha Stinson, Randy & Bryce Mullins, The Yorkridge Boys, Rural Alliance for the Arts Community Art Show.

Friday the festival wraps up with WRBI Night. Jim True Ford presents Americana artists “The Howlin’ Brothers” and Decatur County native, Nashville singer-songwriter Dustin Huff at 7 p.m.

During the festival, The Sherman will stock a full bar, beer, wine, and offer grilled grass-fed burgers and grilled chicken. Snickers & Peanuts, The B&G Dairy Bar and Kona Ice will offer sweet summer treats.

The festival was moved to the pavilion because of the possibility of inclement weather.
