$1 Million Bond Set for Man Suspected of Meth Distribution

(Lawrenceburg, IN) – We have an update to a story we brought you on Friday.

Bond has been set at $1 million for Troy Thomas.

He’s charged in Dearborn County with three counts of Dealing in Methamphetamine (Level 2 felonies) and faces a Habitual Offender Sentencing Enhancement.

Thomas was arrested in Greendale last week following a lengthy investigation by the Dearborn County Special Crimes Unit.

He was allegedly in possession of nearly 118 grams of meth at the time of his arrest.

Thomas allegedly distributed large amounts of meth in Dearborn County for several years.

The Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office says Thomas, who is from Cincinnati, has a lengthy rap sheet in Hamilton County, including robbery, multiple weapons charges and trafficking in drugs.

If convicted, Thomas faces 10 to 30 years in prison on the dealing charge and an additional 6-to-20 on the habitual offender enhancement.

He remains housed in the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center.
