Three Vie For Franklin County Commissioner Seat

A new candidate has entered the race for Franklin County Commissioner.

Robin Schmidt, of the West Harrison area, works as a CPA for H&R Block and volunteers as a first responder. Schmidt has entered the race as an Independent candidate.

According to the Franklin County Observer, she has an interest in government at the county level.

She is opposed by Democrat Dale Maxie and Republican Eric Roberts.

The general election will be held November 4.

The Sunman Chamber of Commerce invites all to enjoy two days of shopping and fun at Sunman Daze. Celebrating local businesses and neighbors with sidewalk sales, specials, family yard sales, farmer’s market, and Walking Warrior’s Grilling with Bill at FCN Bank. The annual event is held on Friday from 10 am – 5 pm and Saturday from 9 am – 3 pm.
