STL Middle School Girls Teams Win Over Milan

Basketball HoopsThe St Louis 7th grade girls basketball team defeated Milan Tuesday night by a final score of 33 to 19.

All around team play and 15 points in the 4th quarter secured the win.

Hanna Hurm had a game high of 16 points. Hailey Mohr, Avery Roell, & Harlee Masavage each had 4 points. Kate Burkhart added 5. Sarah Preston, Stella Hillenbrand & Kate Poltrack had solid games on both ends of the floor.

Margaret Mary Health has partnered with Hoxworth BloodCenter, University of  Cincinnati to host a Community Blood Drive on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 from 8:00am-11:00am & 12:15pm-2:00pm.  The Hoxworth Donor Bus will parked on the lot, located at 312 Mitchell Ave., in Batesville, IN.   To schedule your appointment, please visit www.hoxworth.org/groups/margaretmary or call the laboratory at (812) 933-5274.  Hoxworth recognizes that blood donors’ time is valuable.  Priority will be given to donors who have scheduled an appointment.  Walk-in donors are welcome and will be seen as soon as possible.   “Local blood donors ensure that local patients at 30 area hospitals receive the lifesaving blood products they need to survive,” said Alecia Lipton, Hoxworth spokesperson.  “Community blood drives are vitally important and we hope to see a good turnout at the Margaret Mary Health blood drive.”   How to Donate: Donating blood is safe and easy.  Donors must be at least 17 years old (16 with a signed parental consent) and in good health.  Individuals must weigh at least 110 pounds and bring identification to donate.  It is recommended that donors eat a good meal and drink plenty of water within four hours before donating.   About Hoxworth: Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati, was founded in 1938 and proudly serves 30 hospitals in 17 counties in[...]
