Rosemary B. Moster

Rosemary Moster

Rosemary B. Moster, of Brookville, was born on April 12, 1932 in St. Peters, the daughter of William and Bertha Geis Metz. She married Louis J. Moster on October 1, 1955 at St. Peters Catholic Church. Rosemary was an active member at St. Michael Church and worked as a cook at St. Michael’s School for 17 years. She was talented as a baker and loved making pies, candies and cookies. Rosemary loved putting her green thumb to work in her flower garden, and her quit-wit to use – joking with her husband. She will be remembered as a person who always had a smile or kind word to share. On Monday, August 22, 2016 at the age of 84, Rosemary passed away at Margaret Mary Health in Batesville.

Those surviving who will cherish Rosemary’s memory include her husband of over 60 years, Lou; son, Jeffrey (Mary) Moster of Charlottesville, VA; grandchildren, Hannah, Rachel and Sarah; sisters, Kakie Back and Delores Bosse, both of Cincinnati, and Eunice Miller of Batesville; brothers, Tom Metz of Connersville, and Bill Metz, Jr. of Cincinnati. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews, including a special niece and her family, Nancy and Don Filer of Cincinnati.
