Ron Gill

Ron Gill, of Connersville, was born on September 29, 1954 in Clinton, Indiana, the son of Charles Richard and Barbara Lou Manuel Gill.  He served his country with the United States Army and later worked for and retired from Residential CRF.  Ron married Lisa Crumpton in Gatlinburg, Tennessee on April 15, 2011 and she survives.  His interests and hobbies included cooking, reading, listening to music, and watching Indy car.  He also loved horses and spending time with his family.  On Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the age of 62, Ron passed away at Reid Health ER in Richmond.

 

Those surviving who will cherish Ron’s memory include his wife, Lisa Gill; children, Brandon (Amanda) Gill of Connersville, Jason (friend Karen) Gill of Connersville, Casey (Jake) Peugh of Brookville, Steven Gill of Jacksonville, FL, and Laura (Nick) D’Andria of Iowa, step-children, Brian (Jill) Harrison of New Albany, and Sara Harrison of Connersville; grandchildren, Sydney, Hanna, Wyatt, Travis, Elle, Gage, Siana, Alex, Steven Jr., Seth, and Vittoria; step-grandchild, Brynn; great-grandchild, Owen, and a brother, Rick (Vicki) Gill of Blooming Grove.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Bryan Michael Gill, a brother, John William Turner III, and two infant sisters.

 

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. with Rosary at 3:15 at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville.  A Mass of Christian burial, officiated by Father Dustin Boehm, will be held on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church.  Military honors provided by the Bernard Hurst Post #77 American Legion, will follow at the church.
