LAS VEGAS – The owner and operator of Rising Star Casino Resort has put itself up for sale.
Las Vegas-based House Resorts Inc. is pursuing a buyer as shares have dropped by nearly 55 percent since the beginning of the year.
In addition to the Rising Sun casino, the company also owns a location in Mississippi and operates two casinos in Nevada.
