Richard W. Newman, 85 of Moores Hill, passed away at Dearborn County Hospital Tuesday November 22, 2016. Richard was born Wednesday September 23, 1931 in KY the son of Fred and Loretta (Schweitzer) Newman. He married Evelyn (Weisenberger) Newman September 22, 1951 and she survives.
Richard was an Army Veteran during the Korean conflict. He was a union heavy equipment operator for over 40 years. Richard enjoyed camping, driving his tractor, loved attending his church, and in his earlier years being a Boy Scout Leader, and spending time with his family.
Richard is survived by wife: Evelyn Newman of Moores Hill; Sons: Timothy (Freida) Newman of Milan; Ricky C. Newman of Moores Hill; brother: Frank Newman of Cincinnati, OH; sister: Diana Taylor of Cincinnati, Ohio. 8 Grandchildren, many Great- Grandchildren, several Great-Great- Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Lola Schwab.
Funeral service will be 11 AM Saturday November 26, 2016 at Grace Baptist
Church in Milan with Pastor Charles Miller officiating. Burial will be at 1:30PM at Arlington Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 2145 Compton Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.
