Osgood Man Reportedly Fired Gun During Dispute

Officials with the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office say a 43-year-old Osgood man was arrested for firing a shotgun during an alleged domestic dispute Sunday afternoon.

Authorities arrested Daniel Hobbick for Criminal Recklessness with a Deadly Weapon (class D felony).

Officers arrived to a residence around 6:34 p.m. after receiving a report of a domestic disturbance between the man and his girlfriend.

Hobbick allegedly shot the gun and also damaged two of the couple’s vehicles during the incident.

He was lodged into the Ripley County Jail where bond was set at $1,050.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Holton Town Marshal.
