The owner of Guys and Gals Quarters of Batesville will be on television Tuesday morning. Tamara Lamping will be on Fox 59 at 8:20 a.m. discussing an upcoming fashion show that is for a good cause.

The show will be held at the Alexander Hotel in Indianapolis on Sunday, April 27.

The event, which is themed “Global Culture Clash”, will showcase eco-fashions and the season’s hottest trends in hair and makeup from beauty industry leader, Aveda. The fashion show is part of a fundraising campaign to raise money to improve Indiana’s water quality.

The Batesville salon will have three models at the event that will wear eco-friendly fashions. Fox 59 sent an email to participating businesses and Lamping responded.

“I didn’t hear anything that day and thought they must have picked an Indianapolis salon since we’re here down here in little Batesville,” Lamping said. “They called me the next day and decided to select our salon to be part of the program.”

“We’re really excited about it of course I am a little nervous I have never been on live television before!”

Lamping will be on the news broadcast Tuesday previewing the Guys and Gals models in the fashion show, which include employee Elizabeth Haeufle.
