East Central volleyball swept the Batesville Bulldogs in EIAC action tonight. The Lady Trojans defended their home court in commanding fashion defeating the Bulldogs 25-10, 25-13, and 25-11.

The game started off slow with the first 3 servers missing their serve but the next few servers got the rhythm and EC took control of the game. With control of the serve the plays on the court ran smooth with kills and blocks at the net, the game became East Central’s. EC won in 2 games with the score 25-17 and 25-15 with the record 7-0.

East Central Freshman won in two: 25-22, 25-22. The team is now 4-0.

The team’s technical skills are improving every game and I love hearing the girls excited about how those improvements impact their performance. We were really strategic about positioning tonight, but also continue to strive to be multifaceted players.
