EC Volleyball traveled to Milan to face the Lady Indians tonight. All three teams swept them in straight sets.
Varsity won 25-9, 25-12, and 25-19.
We were spot on in the first two sets. We started off slow in game 1, but quickly picked up the pace. We played with intensity and the results show that. Game 3 was a completely different story. We started going through the motions just enough to get the win. We struggled scoring points and started making mental mistakes.
‘The strongest part of our regular season schedule is over. We have to figure out how to play a solid match in these final weeks. We have some work to do, but I know they will continue to push themselves and get better at the mental game.’ EC Coach Cassie Laker.
Varsity is now 21-6 on the season.
Next up: South Ripley at home Monday at 5:30. This is senior night where we will recognize our 6 seniors and dedicate a night to their hard work over the last four years.
