VolleyballSouth Ripley fell in three sets tonight to the Class A #6 ranked Trinity Lutheran team with scores of 25-19, 25-18, and 25-12.

“We played great the first two sets and I think we even caught them by surprise with our blocking.” “The wheels just fell off that third set and we really struggled with serve receive and getting our offense going.” “I don’t mind playing great competition though, that’s what this young team needs is all of the experience it can get to help prepare us for conference play and sectional.” “I was very happy with our first two sets, we were up 19-16 the first game and we just couldn’t stay consistent to close it out.” “The second set was the same, we played well, we made some big plays, and then missed some easy plays.”  Raiders Coach Robyn Greiwe.
