The Batesville Primary School will hold its Kindergarten Registration in the school cafeteria and gym area on Thursday, March 6, 2014.
Children must be 5 years old on or before August 1, 2014, to enter kindergarten for the 2014-2015 school year. If the birthday falls between August 2 and September 1 and would like to be considered for early entrance into kindergarten for the 2013-2014 school year, please contact BPS Principal Heather Haunert at the school office at 934-4509 for further information.
To register for Kindergarten, parents should call the school office to schedule a session time. Half hour sessions will be set up between the times 8:15 a.m. to 2:15 pm and 5:00-7:15 pm on March 6.
Registration papers will be mailed prior to March 6. Parents must bring their child’s original birth certificate, current immunization records and completed registration papers to registration.
Immunizations are available at the Ripley County Health Dept. in Versailles. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 812-698-0506.
Also, MMH Wellness Clinic, located at 1051 State Road 229 N. in Batesville, by appointment only. Call 812-934-0699 Tuesdays, 12:30-7:00 and Thursdays, 10:00-12:00 and 1:00-5:00.
Please park in the west lot and enter through the gym/cafeteria area.
During the 30 minutes, parents will attend an informational session with Mrs. Haunert, BPS principal. Children will participate in screening activities with teachers and staff.
In case of snow and school is canceled, kindergarten registration will be held Thursday, March 13 at your scheduled time.
