Track & FieldOn April 8, The Jac-Cen-Del Varsity Track traveled to Lawerenceburg for a 5 way meet. Teams also included where South Ripley, Shawe Memorial and Oldenburg. Boys finished 4th and Girls 3rd in the meet.

Highlights for JCD is:  Ladies-Kelsey Bowling 1st 100H-17.97, 3rd 300H-55.84 , 2nd Long Jump -15’6″; Jenna Hughes 3rd 1600M-6:09, 2nd 800M-2:42, 1st High Jump-4’10″; Abby Wagner 4th 100M-14.35; Kayla Bowling 3rd Long Jump-13’4″;
Rosie Newhart 1st Shot -30’2″, 1st Discus- 80’7″; Sasha Wagner 3rd High Jump-4’8″; and Celest DeChristopher 5th Shot-23′.

Mens-Eli Wagner 3rd 100M-11.9; Chris Kissel 4th 1600M-5:15, 5th 800M-2:35; Rodney Dobbs 3rd 1600M-5:10; Jacob Dodge 5th 3200- 14:30; Tyler Johnson 2nd Shot- 40′, 1st Discus-117’7″; Chris Douglas 5th Discus- 70’7; and John Schmitt- 3rd HighJump-4’10″.

On April 10th, The JCD Varsity Track team traveled to Switzerland Co. for
a 3way meet. Other team included Rising Sun.

Boys finished 3rd and Girls 2nd.
Girls: Switzerland 1st-73, JCD 2nd-43, Rising Sun 3rd-35,
Boys: Rising Sun 1st-65, Switzerland 2nd-49, JCD 3rd- 35
