The Batesville Boys Varsity Tennis team competed in the first round of EIAC individual tourney on Thursday. All five spots were winners and will advacne to the semi-finals on Saturday at 9 AM.
#1 Singles- Beau Brown defeated Garrett Crowe (Franklin Co.) 6-0, 6-0
#2 Singles- Blake Walsman defeated Barnachea (Lawrenceburg) 6-0, 6-0
#3 Singles- Ben Schwettman defeated Cole Carmony (Rushville) 6-0, 6-0
#1 Doubles- Spencer Rose and Matthew Taylor defeated Ryan Howell/Brett Upton (South Dearborn) 6-3, 6-4
#2 Doubles- Paul Ritter and Harsh Patel defeated Phil Stenger and Connor Paul 6-1, 6-3
The semi-finals will begin at 9:00 AM on Saturday at Greensburg and the finals will follow.
