The Batesville Middle School boys and girls teams won the Ripley County meet against Milan, Jac-Cen-Del, and South Ripley on Thursday.
The Jac-Cen-Del junior high cross country teams concluded their seasons on Thursday night (10/1) at home in the Ripley County Meet. The JCD girls’ and boys’ teams finished 2nd in the four school meet.
Boys Team Scores. Batesville 24, Jac-Cen-Del 45, Milan 81, and
South Ripley 97.
Girls Team Scores. Batesville 18, Jac-Cen-Del 46, and South Ripley 72.
For Batesville, Joshua Myers won the boys race, followed by Dillon Murray, 2nd, Adam Moster, 6th, Eli Pierson, 7th, James Kuisel, 8th, Benjamin Moster, 9th, and Tyler Kuntz, 11th.
For Batesville, Liz Loichinger won the girls race, followed by Lexi Huber, 2nd, Lily Pinckley, 4th, Sarah Ripperger, 5th, Katie Olsen, 6th, Isabel Smith, 11th, and Sarah Price, 13th.
