The Freshman Boys Basketball team won an exciting game on Saturday against North Decatur 45-36.
The game was tied after the 1st quarter 11-11. Batesville had the lead going into the the half 24-18. North Decatur, however, fought back in the 3rd quarter, taking the lead at one point from Batesville. The 4th quarter proved to be the difference as Batesville outscored North Decatur 14-4, ending the game 45 – 36.
The Bulldogs were led by Charlie Dice with 14, Cory Ralston 12, Seth Gausman 8, Bill Lynam 5, and Shane Meer and Jacob Deutsch with 3 a each.
The Bulldogs host East Central Thursday at 6pm at BHS.
