The Batesville 9th grade got their first win of the season Saturday afternoon against Jac-Cen-Del 43-35.
Batesville was led in scoring by Zach Britton with 14. John Harmeyer added 9. Rounding out the scoring for the Bulldogs were Peyton Meyer (6), Alex Roell (5), Mitch Esser (4), Anthony Butz (3), Zach Prickel (1), and Nathan Batta (1).
“This was a good team win for us. We had a lot of guys come off the bench and contribute. I has happy to see carry over into a game situation on some things we emphasized during practice this week.” Batesville Coach Ben Siefert.
The Bulldogs are now 1-1 on the year, and travel to South Decatur Monday night. Tip time is 6:00pm.
