INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Bill Clinton took gentle aim at Bernie Sanders — and more pointedly at Donald Trump during a campaign stop for his wife in Indianapolis.
Speaking at Hillary Clinton’s campaign office, the former president says Sanders “wants to help” with college costs.
But he says the Vermont senator’s call for free tuition at state universities won’t work, because it calls for state governments to pick up a third of the bill.
Hillary Clinton, meanwhile, is appearing at events in Hammond and Mishawaka.
