St. Nicholas SWEEPS Sunman-Dearborn Middle School on Monday, Sept. 21 at Sunman-Dearborn.
The 7th grade team won in 3 sets with scores of 25-22, 22-25, and 15-13.Ella Fledderman served 19/21 with 2 Ace serves, and Jessica Rees served 9/10 with 2 Aces. The team never gave up and came up with the win. They improve their record to 9-2. The 7th grade team plays St. Mary’s Greensburg on Tuesday evening (they only have a 7th grade team).
The 8th grade team also came up with a win in 2 sets with scores of 25-23 and 25-23. Molly Gregg served 12/12 with 2 Aces, Ella Fledderman served 9/10, and Erica Kathman served 8/10 with 3 Aces. Both teams battled for each point, and it was a great night of volleyball. St. Nicholas 8th grade improves their record to 13-0.
Both teams are back in action Thursday against Greensburg.
