Three Recovering After Two Car Collision

SUNMAN — A two vehicle crash in Sunman sends three to the hospital yesterday.

A 17-year-old of West Harrison was in their vehicle to turn left off of State Road 46 to head south on to Spades Road.  Vanessa Gorth, 27, of Batesville did not slowdown in time, and rear ended the stopped vehicle.

Gorth suffered a laceration to her forehead. The West Harrison teenager had complaints of a headache along with the passanger of the stopped vehicle, Otto Grimes, had pains throughout his neck and back.

State Trooper Jamey Sperle reported that all three were transported to Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville. The three victims of the collision have been treated and released; however, the crash remains under police investigation.
