BATESVILLE — The University of Louisville is becoming a popular college among Batesville High School baseball players.
Sophomore Zach Britton is the second player from the team to commit to the college. The catcher had a breakout performance his freshman year leading the EIAC in batting average and received the Bulldog Hitting award.
Prep Baseball Report ranks Britton #15 overall for the class of 2017. He also received the top ranking for catcher and fourth for hitter, according to the site.
Batesville Senior Bryan Hoeing has also committed to the University of Louisville
