FRANKLIN COUNTY, IN — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 52 at Elkhorn Road around 5:30 pm Tuesday.
Two people were trapped in the wreckage but were cut out of the vehicles by New Trenton firefighters.
The victims were taken by Franklin County EMS to area hospitals.
Their identities and conditions are not available.
U.S. 52 at Elkhorn was shut down briefly for the removal of the wrecked vehicles from the roadway.
