Sue Margaret Lynn, formerly of Metamora, was born on February 4, 1940 in Jackson County, Kentucky, the daughter of Aaron and Cleona Johnson Parrett. She graduated from Laurel High School and later married Lee Lynn on December 24, 1959 at Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Lakeview. Sue was a devoted wife and mother; loved her weekly games of Yahtzee with her sisters, and enjoyed her dogs. On Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at the age of 77, she passed away at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Those surviving who will cherish Sue’s memory include her loving husband of nearly 58 years, Lee Lynn; a son, Terry (fiancé Tracey Adams) Lynn of Smyrna, TN; a granddaughter, Nicole (Ryan) Wheeler of Peru; great grandchildren, Cameron, Mason and Sophie Wheeler; three brothers, Ernest Parrett of Franklin County, Donnie (Darla) Parrett of Rushville, and Harold (Donna) Parrett of Franklin County; four sisters, Margie Milbourn of Metamora, Barbara Wyatt of Rushville, Lucy (Joe) Halcomb of Metamora, and Mae Baker of Metamora. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Aaron “Jr.” Parrett, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, September 8, 2017 from 5 until 8 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11a.m. at Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Lakeview. Burial will follow in Metamora Cemetery.
