The St. Louis Boys 6th Grade Basketball team played a thrilling game vs Laurel tonight. The first quarter saw the Cardinals take a lot of good shots but they could not get anything to fall. This allowed Laurel to grab a 4-0 1st quarter lead. The 2nd quarter saw the Cardinals go on an 11-6 run as Cam Anderson scored 7 points including a last-second three-pointer and Luke Richardson scored his only 4 points of the game. The Cardinals had an 11-10 halftime lead. The game continued back and forth as Laurel took a 17-16 3rd quarter lead. The 4th quarter saw Laurel increase its lead but the Cardinals were able to rally as Cam Anderson hit the game-winning three-pointer for a game-high 15 points and Hunter Young added 4 points as the Cardinals won 25-23. Grant Streator also added 2 points during the game.
