The South Ripley girls varsity basketball team won their third straight sectional championship Saturday night, defeating Hauser 42-31 in the 2A Sectional Final at Switzerland County.
The top scorer for South Ripley was Katelynn Samples, with 16 points.
South Ripley will play North Knox in the Regional 23 Championship next Saturday at 4 pm.
