New Point, IN — Sunday morning around 4:30 am, an armed robbery took place at the Petro Truck Stop located 1409 S County Road 850 East in New Point.
The suspect is described as a black male, whose height was between 5’10 and 6’1. During the robbery, the male was wearing a red and white jacket, a gray or light-colored Lacoste sweatshirt, and a hat with an alligator on the front. The suspect was armed and displayed his weapon.
The suspect vehicle is described as a dark-colored SUV and left the scene driving southbound on County Road 850 East according to Decatur County Sheriff’s deputies.
