Sheriff Bradley Runs Again

Rob Bradley

(Versailles, IN) — Ripley County Sheriff Rob Bradley has announced he is seeking reelection, saying there is still important work ahead for the department and the community it serves.

“I’m proud to announce that I am running for reelection as Ripley County Sheriff,” Bradley said in a statement. “It has been an honor to serve our community and work alongside the dedicated men and women of the Sheriff’s Office to keep Ripley County safe.”

Bradley added that he is asking voters for their support “as we continue building a safer, stronger community together.”

Bradley took office on Jan. 1, 2023, after winning election in 2022. The Ripley County sheriff serves a four-year term, with Indiana law allowing a maximum of two consecutive terms in the position.

During his current term, Bradley has emphasized staffing, communication with the public, and coordination with local media to keep residents informed about public safety issues across the county.

The Ripley County primary election is scheduled for May 5, with the general election set for Nov. 3. Candidate filing for the primary election is currently underway.

Bradley said he looks forward to continuing the work of the Sheriff’s Office if voters return him to office.
