Robert F. “Bobby” Ascherman, 85, of Dillsboro, Indiana, passed away Tuesday May 1, 2018 in Dillsboro, Indiana.
Bobby was born April 10, 1933 in Dillsboro, Indiana, of the late Jesse and Ester (La Kamp) Ascherman.
He worked as a Welder for Aurora Casket, retiring after over 45 years of service.
Bobby was a hard worker, and liked to keep busy. He especially enjoyed doing yard work. He loved the annual “Florida trip with the Guys” every February. It was the highlight of his year.
Surviving is his sister, Marcella Marshall of Aurora, IN; longtime friends, Bob & Mary Jo Finnegan, Casey & Kari Finnegan, Andy & Trish Finnegan, all of Dillsboro, IN.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, and the love of his life (married 42 years) wife, Joann Ascherman.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, May 12, 2018, 2018 at the Cedar Hedge Cemetery in Rising Sun, Indiana.
