Rhonda M. Mahoney, age 50 of Sebastian, Florida (formerly of New Castle), passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023. Born in Batesville, Indiana, she was the daughter of Jack and Ruth Johnson. Rhonda was a member of New Castle United Methodist Church and attended Riverside Church in Sebastian, FL. An accountant and administrative assistant for many years, she also owned and operated Our Place Restaurant in New Castle. An active volunteer in the American Legion Auxiliary Post #189 in Sebastian, Florida and she loved animals, especially her dog, Raji. Known to many as Rhonda, her favorite title was “GiGi”, given by those who loved her most.

Memorial Service: 2 PM on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Thomas Gillespie. An informal Celebration of Life will be held later in Sebastian, FL.
Visitation: 10 AM until service time on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.
