(Dearborn County, IN) – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Paul H. Rohe Company continues pavement rehabilitation work on U.S. 50 west of Aurora in Dearborn County.
Beginning on or after Monday, September 8, crews will begin Phase 2A of the project between State Road 350 and Dutch Hollow Road.
Drivers can expect the following traffic restrictions on U.S. 50 during Phase 2A through late November, weather permitting.
- All traffic will be shifted to the westbound lanes of U.S. 50 using temporary crossovers while eastbound construction is in progress.
- U.S. 50 will be reduced to 35 mph and an 11-foot lane width reduction will be in effect.
Additional traffic shifts will take place while overall work is in progress. INDOT will continue to provide information and updates as work progresses.
Overall work is expected to be complete in spring 2026, weather permitting. Overall work was previously scheduled to be complete in November 2025.
The schedule has been modified due to additional required work and weather impacts.
