Patterson Seeks Third Term

Lindsay Patterson

(Indianapolis, IN) – State Rep. Lindsay Patterson has announced she is seeking reelection to a third term representing Indiana House District 55.

Patterson, first elected in 2022 and reelected in 2024, made the announcement in a post to constituents as the 2026 legislative session got underway.

“Serving District 55 has been one of the greatest honors of my life,” Patterson wrote. “We just started back this Monday and I’m excited to get the ball rolling.”

Patterson said she is running again to continue advocating for local residents at the Statehouse.

“I am determined to ensure your voices are heard at the statehouse,” she wrote.

The Republican said her campaign is centered on visibility and engagement for the district.

“I’m running again because District 55 deserves a representative who shows up, speaks up, and fights every day for our families, our jobs, and our future,” Patterson said.

Patterson also pointed constituents to her legislative record, noting that the bill-filing deadline for the current session has passed.

“With your support, we’ll keep pushing forward—stronger, louder, and more determined than ever,” she wrote.

Indiana House District 55 includes all of Fayette, Franklin, and Union counties, along with parts of Decatur, Ripley, and Rush counties in southeastern Indiana.
