Greensburg, Ind. — Findlay, Ohio-based Fresh Encounter, Generative Growth II LLC has purchased 15 Marsh stores including locations in Greensburg and Columbus. The sale is valued at $8 million.
The company also operates Community Markets, Great Scott Community Markets, Sack ‘N Save Supermarket and Chief. Earlier this year the company acquired Erlanger, Kentucky-based Remke Markets.
Marsh Supermarkets filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy May 11 after closing 19 stores and selling off their pharmacy business to CVS.
