North Decatur girls varsity track defeats Waldron and Edinburgh

North Decatur girls varsity track competed in a three-way meet with Waldron and Edinburgh on Thursday. The Lady Chargers won the meet with 68 points, outscoring second-place Waldron (41 points) and third-place Edinburgh (20 points).

Individual Results

Ava Luckoski won the 100m dash in 12.65. She is now only .2 seconds away from breaking the school record. Luckoski also took 1st in the 200m dash with a time of 27.8.

Madi Allen won the high jump with a mark of 4’8″, the long jump with a mark of 14’4″, and the 300m low hurdles with a time of 53.81.

Ella Kunz placed 1st in shot put with a throw of 29’4.5″ and 2nd in discus with a throw of 77’6″.

Skyla Wade won the discus with a throw of 89′ and finished 2nd in shot put with a throw of 27’2″.

Ava Lecher took 2nd in the 100m hurdles with a time of 18.68 and 2nd in the 800m run with a time of 2:57.

Philomenia Neise placed 4th in the discus with a throw of 66’2″.

Bre McBride placed 3rd in the 100m dash with a time of 15 seconds flat.

Lauren Miller placed 1st in the 1600m run with a time of 7:40 and 1st in the 3200m run with a time of 17:54.

Relays

The 4x100m relay team of Madi Allen, Bre McBride, Zoey Hersley, and Ava Luckoski placed 1st with a time of 55.59

The 4x400m relay team of Ava Luckoski, Zoey Hersley, Ava Lecher, and AnnMarie Roark finished 2nd with a time of 5:05.

The 4X800m relay team Ava Lecher, Julia Oses, Cece Barber, and Lauren Miller took 1st place with a time of 14:39.

The Lady Chargers compete at the MHC meet this upcoming Tuesday at Waldron.
