The Chargers suffered an uncharacteristic loss to conference foe, Eastern Hancock. The Royals scored early in the first quarter after receiving the opening kickoff, taking advantage of a Charger defensive pass interference penalty. The Chargers would drive to answer but their drive lost steam on a failed punt fake. The Royals scored again in the first before the Chargers found the end zone after a successful long pass from Mason Morris to Ty Litmer before Kaden Muckerheide managed to punch the ball into the end zone. The Chargers would score one more time in the second while keeping the Royals at bay and the score at halftime was tied, 14-14. The Chargers started the third quarter with the ball but would not be able to find the end zone again in the game. The Royals, however, continued to power through. The Royals would find the end zone again in the third quarter and then an onside kick on the ensuing kick. The final score was 36-14. Highlights for the Chargers came from Mason Morris, Kaden Muckerheide, and Corbin Thackery. The Chargers next face conference opponent Monroe Central at home.
