
(Franklin County, IN) – A new deputy has joined the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
Kaleb York successfully completed the hiring process in mid-December and was appointed as a merit deputy.
York is a 2021 graduate of Union County High School, and earned an Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Chaminade University in Honolulu, Hawaii in 2023.
After returning to the area, he began his law enforcement career with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office as a jail officer.
York was hired in 2024 by the Brookville Police Department, and graduated that year from the 235th session of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy.
