Rising Sun, IN —City administration has been informed that an individual who was present at the pool on Friday, July 10 between 11:30 am and 9:30 pm tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday, July 12. The city informed the Ohio County Health Officer and all steps necessary to reopen the pool were taken. However, due to circumstances outside of the city’s control, the pool cannot be adequately staffed at this time and remains closed.
If you were at the pool on Friday, July 10, you may want to get tested for COVID-19. Currently, there is a free, drive-through test site at the Rising Sun Church of Christ (315 N. High St.). No appointment is necessary. Just come to the church anytime between 9 am and 6 pm now through Saturday, July 18. Again, testing is free.
