Marion J. (Metcalfe) Lewellyn 96, of Madison formally of Switzerland County passed away May 28, 2018 at The Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison. Marion was born December 21, 1921 in Addyston, Ohio; the daughter of Charles and Bessie (Potts) Metcalfe. Marion worked at the Chair Factory in Rising Sun and the Shoe Factory in Vevay. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, singing, writing poetry and spending time with her family.
Marion is survived by sons: Ron (Pat) Lewellyn of Cincinnati, Ohio; Jim (Beth) Lewellyn of Springs Valley, OH; daughters: Jean Lewellyn of Clarksville, IN; Tammy Lewellyn Roth of Madison; and Marilyn Lewellyn of Madison, IN; sister: Evelyn Clark of Aurora. 10 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son: Raymond Lewellyn, one brother, 3 sisters, Great-Granddaughter: Melanie Ann Macon.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday June 1, 2018 at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home with Pastor Charlie Miller officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery north of Milan.
