Margaret Blanche Eggleston, of Milan, Indiana, formerly of Moores Hill, IN, passed away Tuesday December 8, 2020 in Milan, Indiana.
She was born February 28, 1928 in Science Hill, KY, daughter of the late Samuel Allen and Pearl Marie (Taggart) Allen. Margaret was a very loving caregiver and spent much of her time taking care of her children and grandchildren. She was very nurturing and her life was dedicated to her family. She was known for her hospitality to others and would help family, friends and neighbors alike. Margaret’s faith in God was most important to her. She will be missed by family, friends, and church family. Margaret loved animals, and enjoyed watching the birds. She enjoyed gardening and just being outdoors. Margaret was a people watcher.
Margaret is survived by her loving children,, Gwendolyn M Schaefer of Aurora, IN, Tonyua J. Eggleston of Aurora, IN, John Gregg (Tammy Annette) Eggleston of Moores Hill, IN; granddaughter, Christina Dale Disbro of Dillsboro, IN; great-grandson, Robert D Eggleston of Milan, IN; brother, Samuel Allen of Burlington, KY; half brothers, Joe & Johnny Taggart of KY; six grandchildren, Danny Smith, Shawnee Ahaus, Randy Smith, Denise Buel, Angel Billingsley, Dawn Salisbury; 19 great and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by father, Samuel Allen, mother, Pearl Marie Allen, husband, Daniel Earl Eggleston, daughter, Pamela Jo Webster, half sister, Joann Taggart, sister, Sib Mobley.
Friends will be received Friday, December 11, 2020, 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at the Grand View Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 9306 North U.S. 421, Madison, Indiana.
Services will be held at Grandview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 9306 North U.S. 421, Madison, IN, Friday December 11, 2020 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Charlie Miller officiating.
Interment will follow in the Grandview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Madison, Indiana.
Contributions may be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church. If unable to attend services, please call the funeral home office at (812) 926-1450 and we will notify the family of your donation with a card.
